Digital Certified Translation

More than a scan: the digitally certified translation

Even though Germany is lagging behind somewhat in terms of digitization, you can submit your documents digitally in many places. Universities and employers in particular are open to online applications.

Many translation agencies offer a “digital version” of the translation, but this is just a simple scan of the paper version.

Legally, however, it has no value whatsoever and counts only as much as a simple copy.

So if you have to submit your documents in the original, it won’t help you.
